Ms. Scanlon’s roles with Global Equity Capital, LLC include due diligence, tax planning, transaction oversight and portfolio company management. Previously, since 1996, she held various finance positions within The Gores Group and its portfolio and was involved in a significant number of transactions, both purchases and sales, with responsibility for financial due diligence, deal structure and negotiation. While with Gores, she was responsible for the financial management and corporate tax matters of portfolio companies and acted as the firm’s chief financial officer.

Ms. Scanlon has extensive experience in international tax matters and structuring complex transactions. Prior to joining Gores, Ms. Scanlon spent 13 years in public accounting and was a partner with Freedman & Goldberg, a certified public accounting firm located in Detroit, Michigan.

Ms. Scanlon earned her B.S. in Accounting from Western Michigan University.
